TAMIKA STEWART NAMED DIRECTOR OF DONOR SERVICES
Newark, DE - Tamika Stewart has been named Director of Donor Services for Blood Bank of Delmarva.
Stewart will oversee all functions of the Donor Services Department to ensure safe, effective and efficient blood collection practices, high donor satisfaction, and superior operations at mobile and fixed blood donation locations. Stewart will also play a major role in the development of regulatory compliant policies and practices for the collection of blood products and will collaborate with Executive Management on strategic initiatives to improve organizational performance.
Stewart's background combines both business leadership and healthcare skills and experiences. In addition to her early career focus in providing and managing behavioral health services, she has more than a decade of experience spanning a range of healthcare business areas including operations, utilization management, commercial services, marketing, program management, and strategic planning.
Previous employers include Friends Hospital, Wes Health System, and Northwestern Human Services, all in Philadelphia, PA.
Stewart has a Masters of Business Administration from St. Joseph's University, a Masters of Social Work from Temple University, and Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification from Villanova University. She graduated with a BS in Psychology from Delaware State University.
Stewart lives in Newark, Delaware.
