Sam’s Club
As supporters of the Blood Bank, Sam’s Club allows us to come on site to greet their customers and share the benefits of our program for the Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day crowds, as well as NASCAR race weekends twice a year.  I look forward to the continued support of Sam’s Club, which serves a large portion of the Delmarva Peninsula.

Many businesses and organizations support the Blood Bank by displaying our information and applications.  These businesses include doctor offices, physical therapy labs, hospitals, Chamber of Commerce groups, pharmacies, massage therapy offices, and Cheer Centers.  This is extremely valuable in helping us reach people from all walks of life who need the benefits of Blood Bank coverage.  Thanks to all who give a little bit of space to share our information.  Call 1-888-8-BLOOD-8 if you would like to help.

American Heart Association, Boscov’s, Beebe Medical Center
The American Heart Association has partnered with the Blood Bank for several years with the “Go Red for Women” Luncheon held each year.  Boscov’s Department Store in the Dover Mall dedicates time and energy to raise awareness about heart disease at their annual Heart Event.  Beebe Medical Center also promotes a healthy heart at the Heart Expo each February.  As Blood Bank of Delmarva attends these annual events, we raise awareness of the need for healthy blood donors and the blood needs of open heart surgery patients. Hundreds who attend these events each year learn how they can join the Blood Bank and do their part in maintaining a healthy heart as well. Thanks to all of these organizations for their helping spread the word.
