Each year, high schools and colleges throughout Delmarva sponsor blood drives to help the community and provide a positive, first-time donation experience for students.  Blood Bank of Delmarva values the school blood drive program, not only as a source of blood products to meet the needs of patients, but also as a foundation for building the next generation of blood donors.

Approximately 11% of the local blood supply comes from school blood drives.
