Delaware's Statewide Giving Event Day: 2023 DoMore24

Blood Bank of Delmarva is thrilled to announce that we will participate in Delaware's statewide, annual, and extraordinary giving day, "Do More 24”.Mark your calendars, because this incredible 24-hour event kicks off this Thursday, March 2nd at 6 PM and runs through March 3rd at 5:59 PM. This year, BBD aims to raise $15,000 through Do More 24. Charitable gifts made between now and a week after the event will still count towards our overall goal.

Can you imagine what life would be like if the work BBD did, stopped tomorrow? Bank of Delmarva is an indispensable component of disaster preparedness for our communities' partners, hospitals, and patients. There is no substitute for the vital role played by BBD in meeting this essential need. 

Financial gift makes a direct impact and will save lives by enabling us to increase blood donations and expand our lifesaving mission in our local community. The money raised will go towards:

  • Increasing blood donations and expand our lifesaving mission in our local community
  • Funding the build of new and updated blood centers throughout the Delmarva community
  • Enhancing BBD's Youth and Scholarship programs
