Plasma Donations from Recovered COVID-19 Patients
Blood Bank of Delmarva has developed a program to partner with healthcare providers to provide convalescent plasma. If you are interested, please follow the guidelines below to begin the process.
Please be aware that we do NOT test for COVID-19. You should contact your health care provider if you want to be tested.
RECOVERED COVID-19 INDIVIDUAL
If you have recovered from COVID-19 and wish to be considered to donate plasma, you MUST contact one of the hospitals that are participating in the Emergency Investigational New Drug (eIND). Please check cdc.gov or fda.gov for more information.
Please note that you cannot book an appointment online for this donation. All requests for convalescent plasma donations must be initiated from a participating hospital.
