Summer Blood Drive 2018 Employee Contest Rules
Open to all employees of Blood Bank of Delmarva except members of the Executive Leadership Team.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Refer a minimum of two new donors during the contest period (May 21 to September 30th). Referrals must present to donate during the contest period to qualify for an entry.
Present to donate blood or platelets during the contest period (May 21 to September 30th).
PRIZE Grand Prize: Trip for four to Disney World including airfare, hotels, and tickets to the park (ARV $4000)
One entry per referral. Every 2 referrals equal one entry. Employees can refer as many donors as they wish.
One entry per blood or platelet donation.
Participants will have opportunities to win free prizes and giveaways throughout the contest period when available.
Employees will be recognized throughout the contest period for achieving milestones such as most referrals.
- Employees will distribute Referral Cards to individuals they are inviting to donate. Employees must ensure their information is completed on the Referral Card to claim that referral. No credit will be issued for cards with missing information.
- The referred donor will present the completed Referral Card to the Registration Specialist upon check-in for their appointment.
- Donor Registration Specialist will initial and date card and place in the collection box.
- Referral card gets entered into the SBD Employee Referral Tracker weekly.
- Donor Recruitment publishes a weekly Leaderboard to keep everyone informed

- Share Summer Blood Drive posts on your social media channels or create your own with the #GiveBloodGetDisney hashtag
- Wear your SBD swag (T-Shirt, buttons, headband) every Friday
- Create a department competition for who makes the most referrals
- Send an email to your friends and family
- Become a BBD Brand Ambassador and educate others about blood donation
