We are excited to announce our summer social media campaign to try to get young and first-time donors through our doors! Our plan is to create and share short videos of our amazing staff and current donors to get the word out about the constant need for blood.

You will see us filming at times that are convenient for BBD associates, such as the typical slowdowns that occur periodically on the donor floor. We’ll also engage donors for this project. In addition, we will use photos and blurbs as another way to quickly reach our potential audience via social media.

As part of this initiative, we’ll have props for donors and staff to utilize and we have provided instructions at registration that encourage donors to share their stories with us, whether you photograph yourselves or ask for our help.

We want to see all donors; the idea is to share the need for donors on platforms that younger donors and potential first-time donors will use. This is a wonderful opportunity to be creative and original.
